Telecine

From Bless You, Three Worlds by Dai Pan (潘岱). Poem 05.

The shape formed by a group of cats —
can tell you the dog's name.

I don't want to say this is a frog,
Green has already become the answer, instead.
The desert grows larger, the brain grows smaller.
Thinking becomes the burden of your farewell.

Unable to pick up flowers and wine,
The pen I put down now turns into your food.

Childhood letters have no marked price to meet.
Therefore, memories also have no expiration date.

Bless You 05

Telecine

The shape formed by a group // of cats —
can tell you the dog's name.

I don't want // to say this is a frog,
Green has already become the answer, // instead.
The desert grows larger, // the brain grows smaller.
Thinking becomes the burden of your farewell.

Unable to pick up flowers and wine,
The pen I put down now turns // into your food.

Childhood letters have no // marked price to meet.
Therefore, memories also have no expiration date.
