About
Dai Pan / 潘岱 is a poet writing in English from Brisbane.
He was formed in Shanghai and New York. His poems work from a single position — the threshold — and treat that position not as a problem to be solved but as a place to write from. He writes in English as a displaced grammar: image-first, color-led, asymmetrical when accuracy requires it.
Three Worlds (2024–2026) is his first collection.
Visual work is at daipan.art. A personal archive of moving images and field material is at inpraiseoftime.site. This site is for the poems.
Dai Pan holds a BFA from the School of Visual Arts, New York, and is reading for a Master of Information Technology at the University of Queensland.
